Sustainable Energy Workshop

A 5-day workshop open to university-level international students between 22 and 26 August will be held in Famagusta, N. Cyprus. The workshop will include 3 days of classroom workshops and 2 days of technical visits to PV power plants and sustainable development areas. The workshop topics will include energy fundamentals, energy efficiency, renewable energy systems, solar power generation, wind power technologies, the concept of sustainability etc. Experts from the industry will be invited to deliver seminars on their experiences. In the afternoons there will be an opportunity to use the beach club facility of the university. Registration fee is 1500 EUR and it covers accommodation, meals, course material, technical trips, lectures by the experts and the use of beach club facilities.

Registration Information:

Last day for registration is 15 August 2016. The fee should be deposited (or transferred) in Euros to Türkiye İş Bankası IBAN number: TR170006400000268200775504 (Account number: 6820-0775504) with an explanation on the statement as “Sustainable Energy Workshop”. A copy of the statement should be submitted to Prof. Dr. Uğur Atikol in order to complete the registration process.
